It’s been crazy over here at Droid Gamers with all the great games being released. One title we have been waiting for is Crusade of Destiny by Dvide Arts which is a full scale 3D RPG game for Android using the ShiVa 3D engine. Well the wait is over, it’s out and although we didn’t see it on the market until just now, Dvide Arts reported it’s release on May 24th.
Time Chaos is the next great game from Orange Pixel, and I must admit, the more and more I play thier games, the more I love this developer. The game brings me straight back to the late eighty’s and doesn’t let me go.

So far we have seen the Samsung Galaxy S continue to grow in regards to the gaming area of Android due to it’s processor, storage capacity and Super AMOLED screen. Now news has come to light about it’s multitouch capabilities and by the looks of things so far, it’s impressive. The Samsung Galaxy S is now reported to feature Atmel maXTouch sensors.
First and foremost, I must say that this is the first 3D isometric RPG I have played on a little screen. I have played many 2D RPG’s and they play very well. With that said 3D isometric does not transition all that well in one glaring and very important area. But with that aside, if this is what we have to look forward to for Android gaming then I must say we are all in luck!
Well it wasn’t long before the manual download link was just made available for Nexus One owners to grab the update by downloading it and manually installing it. Already the performance increase is ridiculous and an example of this is how fast Froyo boots up. Now the overall review of Froyo will be left to the other sites, we stick with gaming and here is our first impressions.
In the world of physics, Newton is law…alright that was a terrible attempt at a pun but Newton by Badlogic Games is an excellent and unique physics game that features some rather awesome 3D retro style graphics and smooth animation. The basis of the game it to shoot your particle gun and hit your target but all is not as easy as it sounds.
Coming right on the heels of the Google I/O conference ending is the 30th Anniversary of Pac-man and to celebrate it Google, in their usual fashion, changed the graphic on their search page to show the game with the word Google built into the stage. If you haven’t heard or seen this yet, go check it out since you can actually play the game as well.
Gulp is a new game from our good friends at Orange Pixel! These guys have put out quality game after quality game. So does Gulp keep up with the quality that Orange Pixel has come to show us?
The crew over at Androinica got to demo this great looking game at Google I/O called Skies of Glory which is a 3D FPS aerial combat game set in a more world war era time. It supports both single player as well as multiplayer with up to 8 players at a time and the graphics looks absolutely slick. This is an iPhone port of the game over to Android.
