Radiant Review


Radiant is the type of game that begs the question to be asked, is keeping things simple a bad idea? Sometimes it is, keeping things simple like taking a old formula and not adding a few ideas of your own, usually makes what would be a great game, terrible. Luckily for Radiant, that isn’t the case and in fact works in it’s favor.

Flying Aces, developed by Sticky Coding, is an air traffic control style game where you control the flight paths of airplanes to ensure all of them land safely at the airport. This is a touch based game where you draw lines for the airplanes to follow and has been one of the more popular games of this genre for awhile and now…it’s gone open source!

Space Challenge 3D

Space Challenge 3D, developed by Osaris Games, is a racing style game where you navigate your space ship, using the accelerometer, through different 3D levels within a certain amount of time using the accelerometer. Each ship that you can choose from has their pros and cons about them and there s no shortage of replay value for this game either.

New Team Members!

Last week I posted our official announcement for positions needing to be filled here at Droid Gamers. The response was amazing! Cryptose Review

Cryptose, developed by Insurgent Games, is an interesting puzzle game where it is your job to decrypt messages either as a Hacker, a Detective or a Spy. The whole game is based around encryption and decryption and while playing the game is entertaining, it also allows you to learn a bit more about how it all works when it comes to encryption.

Wiimote for Android?

Well it is starting to get to the point where a week won’t go by without some more news regarding peripherals and Android gaming. Just reported right now by Engadget, developer Ryan Frawley, has managed to get the Wiimote to work with your Android phone via a bluetooth connection. The software is available free for this demo/beta phase.

Camel Games, developers of some of the best physics games available for your Android phone, has released another new game called Super Tumble. This is a great physics game with a slight twist, instead of the usual drawing lines to make objects move or shooting style game like Shoot U!, this game requires you to remove objects to completer your goal.
