Drill Panic, Developed by Orange Pixel, is a fast paced game sort of like Abduction! but instead of bouncing your way up platforms, here you have to roll downwards and stay ahead of the drill while collecting gems and other items to help you along. You move by tilting your phone left or right in order to roll into gaps in the ground to get to the next level below you.
While going through the usual Android sites I tend to read during my morning habit of drinking a bunch of energy drinks, I happened to notice some news about recent (Pocket Gamers) Game of the Year winner Firemint, who won with their game Flight Control, having just issued a C&D Order to StickyCoding in regards to their game, Flying Aces.
MM Link, developed by Droid Shogun, is a unqiue puzzle game where you have to match two of the same icons to get rid of them in an attempt to clear the board of every icon before time runs out. The icons don’t need to be adjacent from each other for them to be matched up and destroyed. However they do need to be no more then 3 lines away.
I noticed a tweet this morning talking about a new game development framework for Android called libgdx developed by Badlogic Games. This new framework is great for both new game developers as well as advanced users and allows for rapid prototyping on your desktop PC/MAC while guaranteeing to have the same behaviour on your Android device.
Droidkoban, by developer Leihwelt, is a new 3D Puzzle game featuring our beloved little Android as he moves through various stages moving boxes to where they need to go in order to proceed to the next stage. All the graphics are done using OpenGL ES technology and game play is done via the trackball.

I miss the days of school where we made paper airplanes and threw them in class while waiting for it to start. It would have been nice to just have this game instead and would have avoided some of the trouble I got into when I was at school. My Paper Plane is a 3D flight simulator style game where you control a little paper airplane.
While today is a great day for Droid Gamers and our contest and everyone else seems to be having a great day, Android users in S.Korea, especially the game loving ones, got some bad news today. The Android market will NOT include games in S.Korea! This is a ‘compromise’ basically because the Android market had a possibility of being blocked in S.Korea.
