Details begin to emerge about Robotoki’s first game called Human Element

You may or may not remember back in later April of this year when we talked about the former Call of Duty Strategist leaving Infinity Ward to start his own game studio called Robotoki. It seems things have been coming along quite nicely since then as Robert Bowling and Robotoki have announced their first game which will be called Human Element.

Human Element will be a zombie game by the sounds of things and in an interview with Game Informer, Robert went on to describe the core objective behind Human Element, that being survival.

Their greatest strength is the fear that [zombies] instill in us, the survivors, that unreasonable fear. Unreasonable fear that leads us to do unreasonable things to survive. – Robert Bowling, Robotoki

To be honest, the game sounds incredibly interesting already just on the survival aspects alone. In Human Element you will create a character which can be one of three classes: Action, Intelligence, Stealth. From there you pick one of three different identities (a.k.a game modes): Survive Alone, Survive with a Partner, Survive with a Child. From there you are thrust into the post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies and your goal is to survive.

How you choose to start in the world will affect how you interact with it and what scenarios you will have to deal with. Being a fan of good zombie games, I am already dry humping this one inside my mind right now but unfortunately we have a long way ahead of us before we can play Human Element. Currently it is slated for release on PC, Consoles and next-gen tablets in 2015. Luckily more details will be released about this game when Game Informer post their four-age feature about Human Element in July.
