Balloon Touch Review – Just popping ballows but without the mess

Balloons can bring so much joy, static electricity, funny noises, ect. They can also keep kids quiet at amusement parks. Now you can pop balloons to your hearts content without hurting any kids feelings, which means, without the crying. Also handy is the fact that you won’t have pieces of colored rubber everywhere.

Gameplay: At first you are shown a simple screen with the only set of instructions, then you move straight onto the game where you touch the same color balloons simultaneously to pop them. The game only shows balloons floating up the screen so at first you’re confused if it’s an endless game, but then all of a sudden the game is over. Then you’re back at the main screen, and then you can start the process over again.

Graphics: There is a non-moving sky background with some clouds, and annoying blue lines on the top and bottom of the screen all the while the balloons float up the screen.

Controls and Sound: Its all touch screen, just touch the same color balloons simultaneously to pop them. There is no background music, and only one popping sound effect when you pop the balloons.

Overall: If you’re a small kid that likes randomly touching things and likes pretty colors, then you would enjoy this game. If your older than a small kid then you might as well not even worry about this game, there is no replay value and no plot. Also since the game is about as simple as it can get, there really isn’t a whole lot more to say about it.

You can pick Balloon Touch up off the Android Market for $0.99 or try out the Lite version for free. They have also released a ‘Gift Version’ for the holidays.
