Quick Hits: ActionWall 3D Review – Temple Run meets the Atari 2600

If you can imagine if Temple Run was released for the Atari 2600, you would have ActionWall 3D. This game was developed by Sunflat who actually used to go by a different name originally when they were first releasing all of the ‘Papi’ games onto Android.

Name: ActionWall 3D | Developer: Sunflat | Category: Action | Players: 1 | Version: 1.0.0 | Size: 412 kb | Price: Free |

ActionWall 3D is a game that seems at home on the Atari 2600. It’s simple, blocky graphics are surprisingly charming, though they look too simplistic at first. The gameplay is just as simple as the graphics themselves. All you have to do is hold your finger on the screen to jump over the walls, the longer you hold it down, the higher you jump. That’s it. Grabbing the golden star as you run will net you bonus points.

The options in this game are scarce, there’s high score ranking, resubmit latest score, sounds effects, screen zooming and then advanced settings. The gameplay is simple and addictive and is more than worth the price of Free, especially if you dig continuous running games.
