Retro Wings is a flight game that would safely be categorized with FlappyBird clone, though players control a plane in this game, as opposed to a bird. The game includes two different modes, one with levels that players progress though, and the other is infinite and players attempt to see how long they can go without crashing.

It is time once again for another Weekend Play Game Review. Weekend Play gives Droid Gamers an opportunity to highlight some games that may have been overlooked in a busy week of game releases. Halfbrick has been doing a decent amount of updating to their games the past few months and today Monster Dash is the latest game to get an update. In this case it is Ghostbusters themed content that has come to the game but there also happens to be plenty of changes to the game as well with this update.
Versus Space Battle, as noted in the title, is a head to head contest played between two players on the same device. There’s no better way to describe this game other than as air hockey, with a futuristic spin.
The Institute of Technology Development has released a game called the Incredible Circus Remix onto Android today. This game features Pierre, who happens to be the human cannonball of the circus, who had the unique opportunity to slingshot and bounce through some pretty interesting levels.
If you own an Ouya Android console and happen to enjoy games with robots in them, then there is a new bundle available as of today on the Ouya Marketplace you might want to check out called the ROBO Bundle. The bundle comes with a total of four games, all of which feature mechanical versions of human beings.
Young readers might wonder why the internet is filled with so much lament over the fallen blue hero. Sonic The Hedgehog has become the mascot equivalent of Val Kilmer, depressing us with his bloated antics. Dozens of failed games, countless reboots, and now the Sonic Boom atrocity have all but killed this once great franchise. Sega has even announced they’ll no longer be making console games and be focusing only on mobile and PC markets.
[Update: Premium Version] HandyGames releases an update for their Aces of the Luftwaffe shooter
HandyGames has released their newest update for their arcade shooter game called Aces of the Luftwaffe. This particular game is a WWII themed top-down shooter where players will be going up against the forces of the Axis. This game takes place during the Battle of Britain and it will be your job to stop all the waves of enemy planes coming in.
Back in December 2014 we reported on Sonic Runners coming to mobile this year which is being developed by the Sonic Team instead of SEGA actually doing it. Unfortunately, when we reported on the game, there were very little details available at that time. In fact there basically wasn’t any at all. Today we have a bit more to go on including an actual trailer.
A new Shoot ’em Up, or Shmup for short, is heading our way at the end of this month called Son of Light. Developed by Uncommon Games, this new Shmup was apparently inspired by the gameplay found in another title called Knightmare Tower.
