Hey there Android fans, I’m a bit new in town. I’ve come to visit the mobile/tablet gaming space a couple of times and, for the most part, I get it. Thing is, with devices like my trusty Shield tablet getting into the market it is bringing in a slightly different kind of gamer, and I’m here to tell you we’re going to stage an intervention…
Were you on the lookout for a relatively cheap game that delivers twin-stick shooting action, zombies, and multiple weapons of destruction, all wrapped up in a package trimmed with silliness and some attitude? Then have I got a game for you.
Hutch Games out of London, has recently released their latest game into the Play Store. It is a beautiful graphic processing beast, must like the huge monster trucks that are used in the game… beastly trucks that is. Hutch Games has been known to push the envelope in the graphics and controls departments, when it comes to racing games. If you have played Smash Cops, Smash Cops Heat, or Smash Cops Bandit, then you know what I am talking about. If you haven’t, you should definitely check those games out. Right now though, I would check out MMX Racing, their latest title to arrive in the Play Store. If you like Monster Trucks and CSR Racing (Natural Motion Games) type games, then this will be right up your alley.
Originally released onto iOS, Crossy Roads is a humor-filled Frogger style of game which will finally be making its way to Android over the course of the next month and a half. Pixel boat Rush is the latest project from XperimentalZ Games. If you played their last game, Don’t Run With A Plasma Sword, then you already know that they know how to make really fun games, around the most interesting subject matter. Pixel Boat Rush is very different from their last game. It will arrive in the Google Play Store next week, October 22nd. However, if you want to play the game now, you have the opportunity to do so, by signing up for the beta. XperimentalZ Games is doing the beta a little differently though, similar to Early Access Games on Steam. You can buy it now at a reduced cost and get all the upgrades/updates, when the game is released.
Noodlecake Studios in collaboration with Adam Hunt of Yeah Us!, has just released the sequel to the extremely popular game Pumped BMX. Pumped BMX 2! is now available in the Google Play Store, and it is every bit as fun and challenging as its predecessor, with more than just a new coat of paint. Pumped BMX 2! has ridiculously smooth controls, that allow you to pull off amazing tricks, while you are grabbing air between platforms. In short, Pumped BMX 2! is well worth the price of admission.
Checkpoint Champion is a new racing game for Android that, like PAKO, doesn’t really require you to use breaks.
