For those of you who have been waiting for the update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition for Android to come around since the delay a couple of days ago, the wait should be over tonight. Managing Director over at Mojang, Carl Manneh, has announced the news via his Twitter account.
In other news GREE, the world’s largest publicly traded social games company, has expanded their footing in the US by opening up a new office in San Francisco. This comes in the wake of news that the company has cleared over one billion dollar in profit this year.
AMA LTD has released a second addition to their Animal Tycoon series, appropriately named Animal Tycoon 2, onto the Android Market. For you Tycoon type of game fans out there, this brings a whole slew more buildings, decorative items and animals in this new title.
If you follow us on a regular basis then you already know that this type of article has a 50% chance of being related to Android gaming and the other 50% chance being for just gaming related in general. This falls into the latter category as someone has recreated the entire Kalimdor continent from Warcraft in Minecraft.
Now that everyone is in a happy mood with the past couple of articles, it is time to bring up some bad news unfortunately. DroidHen has released another city building casual game onto the Android Market called Miracle City. Like many of the other similar game put out by DroidHen and others, you will be building a fantasy city in whatever layout you like it to be.
Earlier this morning when we were reporting on Game Insight’s newest release, My Railway, we also mentioned that we had details on their other upcoming game for Android. Called Airport City, this isn’t just an airport sim game where you have to manage an airport but even though areas around your airport.
What is a Froad? Aside from being YoYo Games’ newest title for Android, it is apparently a half frog, half toad type of creature that lives in a tree and likes to eat everything, except bees. For some reason it doesn’t like bees, probably because they sting him.
Game Insight is having quite the busy month already concerning Android. Having just released My Country: Sports Edition onto Android, we also mentioned in that article that Game Insight has at least two more titles coming our way this month. It looks like one of those has arrived called My Railway.
