While this news may fall into the realm of general mobile gaming news, it is still pretty interesting to see a company like Nintendo pick up technology to use with their new portable gaming console that has originally been used in higher-end Android devices and, more specifically, Nvidia’s own Shield line of Android gaming devices. Nintendo announced this morning that their new portable gaming console, called the Nintendo Switch, will be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra processor.

We’ve been following the development of Bethesda’s upcoming TCG-style game, that also happens to be themed around the Elder Scrolls universe, for some time now. Well for those of you who have been keeping an eye on it as well, you’ll be happy to know that you can now pick up Elder Scrolls: Legends off of Google Play in a sort of open beta form.
Every year for the past few years Square Enix Montreal has held their own game development jam session dubbed Square Jam, and this year’s event has just ended. Square Jam is a week-long event where developers work on all kinds of projects related to Square Enix titles, or completely new games, and this year there were some interesting ones to come out of the session.
The internet famous Grumpy Cat will be getting his own mobile game later this year called Grumpy Cat – Ready, Set, NO! This will be a cute, short little game for folks who are fans of the famous female feline can play whenever they have a few minutes of spare time.
Our friends over at InnoGames have sent us some goodies to check out. It is actually a sneak peek at three games the company is working on for mobile devices. If you’re not familiar with InnoGames, they started off making browser-based MMO games such as Tribal Wars, but have expanded their catalog of games in the past couple of years to include mobile versions of Tribal Wars, Tribal Wars 2, Grepolis, and Forge of Empires.
Luc Besson’s upcoming $180 million dollar Sci-Fi film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets will be getting it’s own official mobile game which will be developed by Spil Games. The movie itself won’t be hitting theaters until July 2017 and the official game will be a strategy game based off of the film.
Fans of the Ace Attorney franchise will be happen to know that a new game within the franchise will be heading to Android before the end of this year. Capcom has announced that Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will be arriving this Winter for mobile devices, with Android being one of those platforms to get the game.
Fangold: The Eventful Adventures of Land of Britain is a pretty unique game that is making its way to mobile in the near future and is currently slated to be shown off at the upcoming Milan Games Week in Italy which starts on October 14th, 2016 and run until the end of October 16th, 2016.
Popular board game Flash Point: Fire Rescue is getting a digital version and it’s heading to Android soon
One of the more recent popular physical board games is one that is called Flash Point: Fire Rescue. Developers RetroEpic have picked up the task of bringing this turn-based strategy game to the digital world by making a digital version of it. This will be arriving for Android devices in the near future.
Our friends over at Gamevil have soft launched their newest title onto Android called Devilian. This particular game is being developed by Bluehole using Unity3D, while Gamevil will be doing the publishing end of things. If the name of this game sounds familiar, it is because it’s actually based off of the Trion-developed PC MMORPG called Devilian.
