It’s Monday, the first day after the July 4th weekend and while many people do take today off in order to give themselves an extra day to recover from the festivities they were a part of during the weekend, plenty of people are off back to work like normal. A few days ago we brought everyone the first screenshots and trailer for Gamelion’s upcoming sequel to their rather popular dual-stick shooter called Monster Shooter. The sequel, named Monster Shooter 2: Back To Earth, will have you defending Earth from alien attacks instead of going after them yourself when they kidnapped your cat. Now the aliens are on the attack trying to get all the cats at once.
A couple of additional sales going on right now that you may or may not know about this 4th of July. To celebrate today, a couple more developers are offering up a bit of a sale on their games. Lemegeton Master Edition by Lantansia is currently 50% off it’s regular price while the dungeon crawling game DeProfundis is offering up 25% off its premium package.
Once in awhile it is fun to play the bad guy in a video game or at least a hero who happens to tread lightly on that thin line between good and bad. Once you were a not so nice person, committing petty crimes and things of that nature until you decided to get yourself onto the right path. While you have a dark past that seems to follow you, you are now charged with saving the world in a new top-down dual-stick shooter called A Thug In Time.
Ivanovich Games have released a new zombie-filled game onto Google Play and while we already have a plethora of zombie themed titles to play, Crazy Bill: Zombie Stars Hotel is actually something a little different than your typical zombie games. With a sort of retro flare to the game’s visuals, this game has you working your way floor by floor through a hotel, eliminating all the zombies that you can.
Stainless Games have decided to run a promotion similar to the one that they did when the company originally released the classic and bloody game Carmageddon onto Google Play. For those of you unfamiliar with Carmageddon, this particular game is actually quite a classic as it was originally released 16 years ago on June 30th.
There is a new MMO for Android gamers to check out from a company called Free Thought Labs. The game is called City of Splendors and this is actually the company’s first English release onto Android. With that said, their English debut game is actually a pretty solid MMO for you to sink your time into.
We’ve been covering the progress of Magic 2014: Duels of the Planewalkers since March of this year when it was announced that it would be coming to Android, not just iOS like previous Magic The Gathering games. Magic 2014 is the first official Magic The Gathering game for Android devices and now the wait is over for it to finally be released.
It seems as though Crescent Moon Games is having a busy Monday this week. To add onto their currently full plate of new, the company has published two games onto Google Play today as well. The first game, which we’ve talked about in the past, is Redline Rush. The second game is a rather cool platformer called Gear Jack.
Back on Friday we had mentioned that The Silent Age – Episode One would be heading to Android today and sure enough the minimalistic time traveling point-and-click adventure game is now available on Google Play. For those of you who missed out previous coverage of this game, The Silent Age has a pretty cool concept where what you do in the game affects the outcome.
