The big update we have been expecting has finally arrived for Blizzard’s popular TCG title Hearthstone. Over the past couple of weeks we have been reporting on a few new features that Blizzard was teasing as coming soon. Those features are now here, all in one update for players to check out.

It was only a matter of time before this happened, but Google has apparently begun a Free App of the Week feature which is similar to what Amazon does over on their appstore, except this is a weekly thing and not a daily thing like Amazon. What is even more interesting though is that you basically have to hunt for this Free App of the Week as there’s no immediate promotion for it on the front of Google Play.
Released by Techland and Shortbreak Studios, Guncat is a simple shooting game. In Guncat, players will assume the role of the eponymous Guncat, who is an otherwise nice little kitty that has been rudely awoken by raucous birds. Players begin the game by selecting one of several different guns, and then going to work to take out as many of the birds as possible, by tapping the screen.
Nitrome has been quite the busy little bee when it comes to developing games and releasing them, with games being launched on a pretty consistent basis over the last few months. There is a new one out today that features a frog who is also a ninja, which is definitely a good thing. Who doesn’t like ninjas? The frog part is just a bonus.
Rovio, the makers of the Angry Birds frachise, has now globally released another entry in that line: Angry Birds Fight! Rovio’s newest release is a twist on the Match-Three concept. Angry Birds Fight has a heavy emphasis on PvP, where players will be responsible to equip their bird ahead of time with armor and weapons to improve stats such asĀ health, attack, and add unique skills.
Firefly Games has been soft launching their MMORPG called Rush of Heroes in select regions over the past month and it has done quite well for itself during the soft launch phase. Now the company has dropped the soft launch status and replaced it today with a global launch status instead, letting everyone be able to access and play Rush of Heroes.
WimblePong is a new retro-style tennis game from developers Gazzapper Games. While this game features retro-style graphics, it does use the Pro Tennis Scoring system to keep track of everything. This means that it isn’t a re-skinned version of Pong, although the controls and gameplay are as simple as Pong.
Fans of Soccer (or Football depending on what you like to call it) games have a new one to check out this morning called Striker Soccer America 2015 from U-Play Online. This is the latest installment into the Striker Soccer franchise and has players taking on the challenge of taking one of the national teams to the top of the 2015 Copa America of Chile.
Chillingo has announced a new partnership this morning with Codemasters which is to bring Battle Decks to mobile devices in the future. As you may be guessing from the name of this game, Battle Decks is a collectible card combat game where you will be going head-to-head with other players using custom build decks of cards.
Com2uS has announced that a major update will be arriving soon for their pet collecting and simulation game Kung Fu Pets. This update is apparently so big that it actually has a pre-registration event for it, which is something we haven’t seen before. Pre-registration for an upcoming game is one thing, but pre-registration for an update is new.
