In fact all of their products on their web store are at least 30% off and that includes the two mobile gaming products the company has recently released. Both the SteelSeries Free mobile gaming controller and the SteelSeria Flux headset are on sale this weekend only.

Green Throttle controller and console system announced, coming from the creator of Guitar Heroes

If there are not enough new controllers coming out onto the market right now that peak your interest, such as the SteelSeries FREE, MOGA or Nyko controllers, then you’ll be happy to know there is at least one more heading our way coming from a newly announced company called Green Throttle. This company was created by one of the creators of Guitar Heroes and some mobile gaming industry veterans. The goal, however, isn’t just to make a new controller but to turn your Android phone or tablet into a true gaming console.

Nyko’s PlayPad and PlayPad Pro controllers on sale now at GameStop

Back during E3 2012 a new company had come out and announced a new line-up of game controllers specifically designed for mobile gaming. This company, Nyko, had done some good work researching and designing their upcoming mobile gaming controllers from what we had seen back then. Now, we finally can get our hands on some as both the Nyko PlayPad and the Nyko PlayPad Pro Tablet controllers are now available for purchase at GameStop.

The iControlPad 2 gets fully funded on Kickstarter, soon to be available for sale

Back in September the iControlPad 2 hit up Kickstarter to try and get funding to finish off this new mobile gaming controller which has a much better design than the original iControlPad had. Well with a little under 2 days to go the iControlPad 2 has reached its funding goal and will soon be available for purchase once the prototype gets sent out for mass production.

Yes, there are plenty of controllers out there heading our way over the next few weeks, all of which are designed with serious gaming in mind. As with all things technology based, we tend to see sizes get smaller and smaller as technology advances. This holds true for cellphones that, at one point, were bigger than a brick but are now nice little smartphones that fit in our pocket. Even the upcoming Android powered OUYA game console is the size of a Rubik’s Cube. Now game controllers are going that way as well, at least when it comes to mobile gaming.
