Halfbrick’s first big hit, Fruit Ninja, has been out for quite a long time now. Even to this day it is still a pretty fun game but that doesn’t mean Halfbrick hasn’t been working on improving it. In fact the company has pushed out a pretty massive update that not only adds a lot of new content, but also adds plenty of new optimizations.
Halfbrick’s rather fun game Age of Zombies will be getting six updates pushed to it over the course of a short time period, that being a month. This is to kick off Zombie Month which is now apparently a thing. The first of these six updates has arrived today and it adds some pretty good new features to the game.
If you’re a fan of match three styled games (Bejeweled and Candy Crush are the big ones in that genre), Halfbrick Studios (makers of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride) has released a new game called Brizzle Fever that you might want to take a look at. This avian themed game is (in some respects) like many other games of that genre: players are given a board and asked to clear pieces by matching three or more of a single kind.
HalfBrick has decided to break into the world of sim games with the release of a new title called Band Stars onto Android finally. This particular game puts players in control of starting a band and working your way from a little garage band to superstars in the music industry. At least that is what the goal is. Whether you make it there or not is up to how good you are.
So four years ago HalfBrick released their hit game Age of Zombies. For those of you that aren’t familiar HalfBrick is the company that created Fruit Ninja and Monster Dash two highly successful games on multiple platforms. In Age of Zombies you play a commando who when back in time and wanted nothing more then to shoot zombies and make it back to the present. That was four years ago.
Halfbrick’s upcoming game Colossatron Massive World Threat has finally gotten a release date announced and the good news is that the company will be releasing the game onto Android and iOS at the same time. Usually Halfbrick releases their games onto iOS first while the Android version follows afterwards and usually a month or two down the road.
Back in July of this year Halfbrick began teasing their new game called Colossatron: Massive World Threat. No jetpacks, no ninjas and no fruit with this game but instead we get to have fun with a giant robot snake going on a rampage. After the company’s initial teasing of this game, we haven’t heard much about it since until now.
Halfbrick is already well known for their rather popular games Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. Well the company has been working on a new title and have finally decided to actually begin teasing everyone as to what it will be. Officially called Colossatron: Massive World Threat, this game has nothing to do with fruit, ninjas or jetpacks. It does have to do with a massive robotic snake though.
Most people have played Halfbrick’s rather enjoyable arcade game called Fruit Ninja at one point or another in their mobile gaming lives. However, the threat of real fruit attacking you in real life is slim to none but if it did happen, there is at least one person out there in the world who seems to be ready to handle the task of taking on fresh fruit.
Since Halfbrick Studios mentioned they were making a game called Machine Gun Jetpack, which later was changed to Jetpack Joyride, we have been telling our readers that it would be coming to Android at some point. We knew it would be arriving, we just didn’t know exactly when. Well after a rather long wait, Jetpack Joyride is finally here.
