Herocraft has released a new title onto the Google Play store called Ant Raid. This little game is actually quite comical in both visuals and the sound effect departments but as simple as the gameplay is, it quickly gets to be rather challenging as well. You’ll be trying to keep your little ant colony alive against swarms of insects who happened to get mutated into mindless monsters.
Herocraft has turned ten years old and to celebrate this double-digit anniversary they have put all of their games on sale for a limited time. This also happens to be the perfect time for label this as another holiday season sale as well. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the USA and then right after that is Black Friday / Cyber Monday and as most of you know, there is always a plethora of sales and deals to be had. Herocraft’s latest release called The Tiny Bang Story has been put on sale for a limited time for $0.99. The Steampunk-esque game features hand-drawn art, fitting music and an enjoyable storyline to follow. However, there is no text in the game at all so following the storyline, and accomplishing goals in the game, is partly the responsibility of your imagination.
While Activision and Glu Mobile release Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies from it’s month long Sony exclusivity, Herocraft and their neat little game called The Tiny Bang Story has also been released of its Sony exclusivity period and is now available for the rest of the Android world to download and play.
Herocraft’s Majesty series of games, consisting of the original game and the Northern Expansion, have had quite the fan-base since they were released. Well today we have a bit of a double-edged sword regarding an update that has pushed out for the Northern Expansion. While the action strategy game received more content today, it also looks like the series may be ending.
Herocraft is getting in on the Back to School action with a game sale covering four of their games, all of which will be discounted down to $0.99 for a limited time. The sale starts tomorrow and will last until September 3rd, 2012 at which point the games will go back to their regular pricing.
Herocraft has sent word out today that their next game to arrive on Android is actually the hit award-winning iOS game Ice Rage. Teaming up with the Finnish developers behind the game, Mountain Sheep, Herocraft will be publishing Ice Rage onto the Google Play store soon.
Herocraft has released a free version of their game that combines hidden object gaming with match-3 puzzle gaming to form a unique title called The Enchanted Kingdom: Elisa’s Adventure. Set to a fantasy theme, you will be exploring the kingdom around you as you help a young heiress to accede to the throne and learn how to rule her country.
