Humble Bundle has released a new bundle pretty much right after the last one, that being the Humble Bundle 20. However this particular one is a PC & Mobile bundle themed around Artifex Mundi games. To start, this bundle will come with 8 games, with at least one more being added next week.
Released by G5 Entertainment, S.E.D. – Special Enquiry Detail is a new hidden object game. In S.E.D. players will be assisting a pair of detectives, Turino and Lamonte, in solving a string of sensational murders that range from a portrait that bleeds, to a grizzly scene of a cadaver that was found with a deer’s head on it.
There is a new Humble Mobile Bundle launching right now that is themed around another game development studio, this time around it being Artifex Mundi who has gotten their own bundle. Like previous themed Humble Bundles, this one features the three tier system where you can pay what you want for a few titles, or pay above the average amount for a few more titles, or pay over $9 for all of them.
G5 Entertainment has released over 100 games on to Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore, most of which are free with IAPs. However, they also have a pretty decent sized list of games available at a premium price (but still include optional IAPs) and these particular games have had their prices reduced down to a buck.
It is time for our usual mid-week round-up of Android games that happen to be on sale right now over on Google Play. Let’s be honest, OK? If you’ve played one of these casual, hidden-item, Big Fish-style games you’ve really played them all. Well, sort of. While I’ve become very good at pointing out how many titles repeat the same designs over and over, and how this repetition has begun to wear even my battle-hardened gamer senses down, I still keep in mind that some genres will always be what they are… that’s what makes them genres. Sci-fi will probably always have spaceships and robots, Westerns will have cowboys on horseback and fantasy will keep it up with swords, dragons or orcs. It’s just how it is a lot of the time.
Alawar Games may not be a name you are instantly familiar with but they have actually made some pretty popular games that are on Android such as Farm Frenzy. Their newest offering, Gourmania, has just recently arrived on Android and being a fan of their games, we were excited to do a review of this one. Were we impressed?
