Fans of MMORPGs have another, rather big one, to sink their time into as of this morning. Webzen has globally launched MU: Origin onto Android today after a closed beta and a little bit of a soft launch for additional testing. This particular game is actually an MMORPG and not the type that has become popular to label as an MMORPG, which are really just collectible RPGs with some PvP mechanics.

Mobile MMORPGs have started getting more and more in-depth as well as popular, like their PC brethren. In fact there’s plenty of PC-based MMORPGs currently getting either mobile versions made of them, or spin-off games for mobile gamers to play. There is a new one on the way called CubeMatrix: Pixel Wars and it looks pretty interesting to say the least.
Another popular PC-based MMORPG will be getting a spin-off game for mobile devices called Blade & Soul: Hongmoon Rising. The original game, called Blade & Soul, was published by NCSoft and they will also be the publishers for this new title as well. Interestingly enough, this new game won’t just be for mobile, but for PC as well. This would be the second spin-off for mobile devices for this franchise.

This particular game is another fantasy themed RPG title with a martial arts and Chinese mythology flare to it. Players will be entering a world that is in the midst of war with two nations fighting it out.
Back near the end of May 2016 we reported on a rather interesting looking title that would be coming from Snail Games soon called Kingdom Warriors. Back then the game had opened up pre-registration as well for anyone interested in signing up ahead of launch to earn a few extra in-game rewards when the game is released. Today Plarium announced a partnership with Skydance Media for the rights to develop a new Terminator mobile game that will land sometime early next year. This new Terminator themed game will actually come in the form of an MMO-strategy game.
Snail Games’ MMORPG Taichi Panda: Heroes has received its first major update officially titled The Crimson Ride. This new update introduces a brand new mount system, a cross-server PvP tournament, a large-scale 25v25 battlefield, and other big additions and optimizations.
Snail Games have been busy lately it seems as they just released an update for Age of Wushu Dynasty the other day, and now they have released an update for Taichi Panda as well today. This update brings with it a couple of new goodies for players to check out including a new pet, new battle mode and more.
