Released by Gaijin Distribution, Star Conflict Heroes is a new combat and fleet management sim that’s now available on Android. In this game, players will assume the role of captain of a ship named the Scotland, that hunts for salvage after a battle is completed.

While we are covering GDC 2017, Mobile World Congress 2017 in currently underway at the same time over in Barcelona, and for some reason Niantic Labs is there talking about future plans of Pokemon GO. These plans include three, already planned, big updates.
Today during GDC 2017 Google went over a couple of new features that will be beneficial for both developers and consumers when using Google Play. The most obvious change, which will be visible in each Google Play listing, is a strikethrough price when an application or game goes on sale. This is in order to make it more obvious to consumers when a game or app is on sale, instead of having to rely on a developer posting it in the game’s description. There will also be a little note that sale when the sale will be ending.
Coming soon to Android, KIDU: A Relentless Quest is a unique platformer that stresses the importance of how the player views the level. In this game, players will assume the role of a young boy named Chak, who is dissatisfied with life. He ends up spotting the girl of his dreams, and follows her in to an adventure.
Released by All Nighter Games, Doodle Wars is a new side scrolling shooter for Android. In this game, players will assume a Doodle, with some customiztion options availble (gender, hat, etc), in the hopes of ending the reign of King Smudgie; beyond this though, there isn’t much for a story. Players will guide their Doodle left or right, and try to kill off all enemies that are encountered.
Released by Kuyi Mobile, Pocket Arcade is a small collection of the kinds of games that one would expect to find in the breezeways of stores, or in arcades of sorts. There are four mini-games found within Pocket Arcade, all of which are different but pretty good time killers.
Released by PrismaPixel Studios, NoEscape is a Flappy Birds clone with a slight twist. In this game, players will be assuming control of a smaller space ship that needs to navigate through a level that is rife with walls that don’t include gaps to fly through. Rather, when players tap the screen to cause the ship to begin the expected upward arc, the ship also fires its weapon, in whatever direction it’s facing at the time of the screen tap.
Kairosoft has released a new game onto Android and this time it is something a little different than what the company usually releases. This new game is called Magician’s Saga and is actually more of an RPG than the usual straight sim style of game that tend to come from Kairosoft, although you do have a town to build up when not killing monsters.
Ubisoft has announced a new Virtual Reality game that will feature the Rabbids called Virtual Rabbids: The Big Plan. Slated for release on Google’s Daydream VR platform, Virtual Rabbids will have players posing as an agent for a classified government agency, and you will need to travel through different locations in order to hunt down a few irreverent Rabbids who have stolen and scrambled a top secret nuclear safety password.
Prison break out game The Escapists has been announced that it’s coming to Android soon. In this game, players will customize the name and appearance of their prisoner, and then proceed to break out of the institution. Players will have to creatively utilize both item management as well as crafting (for example, making a Sock Mace or Comb Blade out of the requisite components, or locating a screwdriver to remove the grill over an air vent, so the character can climb through to better navigate the prison), and observation (such as noticing the patterns that guards follow, both in timing as well as what paths they follows, to reduce the chance of being caught).
