While we know Rovio have been hard at work with the upcoming Angry Birds Seasons update for Valentine’s Day which will be out either just before or on Feb. 14, 2011 as well as a new version of the game themed around the upcoming Rio movie, we now may have pictures of what could be Angry Birds 2.

Well this came out of left field. Rovio just announced another version of Angry Birds which is slated to be released onto all App stores in March. Called Angry Birds Rio, it is a combined product of Rovio and 20th Century Fox working together to bring an Angry Birds game themed around the upcoming movie “Rio”.
As the title suggests, you need to be a bit of a MacGuyver and build structures using coconuts, vines and some bamboo in the second installment of the Tiki Towers game by Game House called, Tiki Towers 2: Monkey Republic. Your goal in this game is to use the above mentioned items and build structures to save your fellow monkeys.
While we don’t normally do public service announcements, in light of the recent Android Market change regarding the refunding time which is now 15 minutes, we feel it is more necessary now. There is a version of Cut The Rope, smash hit iOS physics game, on the Android market by a developer called AppVision. This is NOT the real Cut the Rope.
Well it seems the developer Get Set Games is gearing up to release their hit iOS game, Mega Jump, this week. Earlier in the month we reported on this great game coming to Android ‘sometime this month’ and have since waited patiently. Well the wait is almost over as we’ve gotten tipped off that it will be landing on the market this week.
One of the winning games in the Action/Arcade category in the Android Developers Challenge #2 back in late 2009 was Moto X Mayhem. After winning 3rd place and a cool $25,000 in prize money, nothing but a gentle breeze game from the developer regarding the game being released. Project was thought to be dead… or was it?
December 11th, 2010 has come and gone. It was the first official worldwide Angry Birds day where Android, iOs, and any other mobile platform with Angry Birds came together to celebrate the game that has cost the world millions in production time at work. While some were fun meet-ups, others were of a more serious nature. Enjoy!
Not to long ago, about a week, we reported on the next Angry Birds Seasons update to be slated for February in honor of Valentine’s Day. While it is now confirmed that this will indeed be the next Seasons update, we still can’t help but be sad there is no New Years update for Seasons with drunken birds and pigs.
Angry Birds developers, Rovio, decided to spill the beans about the upcoming update to the Android version at a press conference today. The big feature that is coming: in-game purchases! To be available first in Finland and then spreading elsewhere, Rovio will be introducing in-game purchases for two major features users have been asking for.
As we mentioned last week, the Christmas version of Angry Birds was coming to Android. Well the wait is over and Angry Birds ‘Seasons’ has been released onto the Android Market. Why ‘Seasons’? Because aside from the 25 levels for Christmas, there are also 45 levels from the Halloween version we missed out on back in October.
