When Polarbit releases a game onto the Android Market, you already know a couple of things: 1) it will have 3D graphics and 2) it will be a good high quality game. Polarbit’s newest release, called Toki Tori, fits right into both of those categories. It’s a great looking 3D platformer for your Android device.

OrangePixel and their ridiculously popular and fun retro platformer called Meganoid is getting an update that will bring some Eastern love to the Meganoid world. If you are good at finding all the diamonds in each level, you’ll now have to search around for Easter Eggs as well that are hidden throughout all 70 levels!
Sneak Peek: Gravity switching robot filled platformer called Roboto coming to Android devices soon!
Roboto is an action-packed side scrolling platformer from the crew over at Fenix Fire that will be making it’s way onto Android very soon. Build with Unity3D, Fenix Fire has a graphical look similar to Samurai II: Vengeance for Android Tegra 2 devices with the whole cartoon-ish look to it but in 3D and it pulls it off just as good too.
As you all know Amazon now has their own Android Appstore and in it they have the ability to offer paid apps and games for free on a daily basis, just like Apple’s App Store. Today, for us Android users that free game is Doodle Jump. Normally 99 cents, Doodle Jump has over 250,000 downloads in the regular Android Market and is rated at 4.5/5 stars.
Alright maybe it isn’t the Ilomilo for Android but there are a lot of similarities when it comes to Cordy and Ilomilo such as the rotating game world and how the 3D graphics look. Since there is no word on when exactly Ilomilo will be coming to Android, Cordy is it for now but it’s definitely not settling for second place.
Meganoid is a retro-styled platform game with all sorts of goodies included. Brought to us by the ever awesome crew at OrangePixel who tend to make some of the best retro-style games for Android. Your goal is to get through each stage and collect the gems, except half of them are hidden (at least it feels that way)!
Karoshi, by YoYo games, can be summed up in 3 words. Funniest Game EVER!!! that is of course dependent on your sense of humor. It takes the typical puzzle platform game and adds a slightly sadistic twist. Normally the idea is to finish a puzzle and reach the goal. Karoshi however, requires you to finish a puzzle in such an obscure manner that you die in the process.
OrangePixel always seem to create great retro-style games, usually completely unique in theme and gameplay. Meganoid is their newest creation and the devs are actually keeping a development blog going as the game develops from start to finish. Currently at around 60% completed, Meganoid is shaping up really nicely.
HandyGames always seem to come out with some pretty interesting and unique games such as Guns n’ Glory or Super Dynamite Fishing. Their newest release is equally as unique and probably slightly more awesome because of the theme. Aporkalypse – Pigs of Doom will have you playing as the four pigs of the Aporkalypse.
