Back in December of last year we reported on Mediocre having announced that they were well underway with developing Sprinkle 2, a sequel for their rather popular physics-based puzzle game. The company has released more details about their upcoming game as well as another screenshot for us to check out.

It’s a special day today and every time there is any sort of special day you can count on one thing when it comes to Android games, there are always sales going on. So far we have reported on Herocraft who has put up three games for sale for $0.99. Well there is plenty more sales out there for you to take advantage of so here is a list of games discounted for today.
Herocraft, a company with plenty of good games who also likes to have a sale any chance they can, have discounted three games over on Google Play in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Each of these games happens to be one of their more popular recently released titles so if you haven’t snapped up a copy of these games yet, now might be a good time to do so.
What do you get when you combine a word game with hangman? You get Wordsplosion. Wordsplosion is a new word game for Android where your goal is to solve a five letter word with only the first letter to start with. The clock ticks down as you guess letters and you have five tries to get it right. If you fail to solve the word within those five guess, or you run out of time a Wordsplosion will be the result.
If you aren’t already agitated at the news that Real Racing 3 will be a free-to-play game when it lands on Android on February 28th, 2013 then maybe this will push you there finally. EA is planning to release the first ever freemium Tetris game onto Android and iOS this Spring. This Tetris game will officially be called Tetris Blitz which EA is saying will off a new twist to the original game mechanics.
We’ve talked a couple of times about this game already in the recent past, between plans for Whispering Willows to come to Android and it being nominated for three category awards in Killscreen’s OUYA CREATE challenge, and now we get to mention the game once more but this time it’s about the fact that it has hit up Kickstarter for funding.
The 10-day developer challenge from Kill Screen called OUYA CREATE has come to a close with 22 games in total being selected as finalists in a variety of categories, all of which have rather interesting names. Some of these games are pretty solid and we’ve even talked about a couple of them recently including Whispering Willows, a horror-themed adventure puzzle game that will also be coming to Android.
DeNA today has announced that the company has signed agreements with four more game development studios to bring future games to DeNA’s Mobage social gaming platform. The four companies are Machineworks Northwest, Grab Games, 4PLAT and Oktagon Games with all four companies bringing future titles to Mobage.
Currently from Disney we have Where’s My Water? and Where’s My Perry? physics-based puzzle games to enjoy. We also have other indie developers making there own spin-off of the Where’s My franchise including one game called Wimp: Where’s My Pants? Now we can add another game to the list, once again from Disney, called Where’s My Valentine?
Animoca has released a new 3D action-puzzle game onto Android called Robo5. It has a simple premise, get to the top of the mountain of boxes with your little robot. However, many of the boxes are not exactly ordinary boxes with some of them having different effects such as floating, crumbling and exploding just to mention a few examples.
