So today marks another milestone for Rovio and their Angry Birds franchise but instead of download numbers this milestone is for YouTube views. Rovio has surpassed the 1 billion views mark on YouTube, something that rarely happens unless you sing songs like Gangnam Style.
So there are a few games currently on sale right now over on Google Play that some of you, our readers, might want to get your hands on. There is only a few titles right now on sale but luckily some of them are actually pretty solid games for a pretty good price.

Last week the finalists were selected for Kill Screen’s CREATE game competition for the upcoming Android-powered console OUYA. The finalists were all pretty strong in all the categories including the one for the grand prize. Now the winners have been selected for each category and here are the results.
Ever since playing Polara last year, I have come to like games that feature the color polarity changing mechanic. Last week, I came across one such game called Bobbing while traversing the lower reaches of the Top New Paid chart on Google Play. Curious, I bought it to see how it worked. Each of these games happens to be one of their more popular recently released titles so if you haven’t snapped up a copy of these games yet, now might be a good time to do so.
What do you get when you combine a word game with hangman? You get Wordsplosion. Wordsplosion is a new word game for Android where your goal is to solve a five letter word with only the first letter to start with. The clock ticks down as you guess letters and you have five tries to get it right. If you fail to solve the word within those five guess, or you run out of time a Wordsplosion will be the result.
If you aren’t already agitated at the news that Real Racing 3 will be a free-to-play game when it lands on Android on February 28th, 2013 then maybe this will push you there finally. EA is planning to release the first ever freemium Tetris game onto Android and iOS this Spring. This Tetris game will officially be called Tetris Blitz which EA is saying will off a new twist to the original game mechanics.
