We’ve talked a couple of times about this game already in the recent past, between plans for Whispering Willows to come to Android and it being nominated for three category awards in Killscreen’s OUYA CREATE challenge, and now we get to mention the game once more but this time it’s about the fact that it has hit up Kickstarter for funding.

The 10-day developer challenge from Kill Screen called OUYA CREATE has come to a close with 22 games in total being selected as finalists in a variety of categories, all of which have rather interesting names. Some of these games are pretty solid and we’ve even talked about a couple of them recently including Whispering Willows, a horror-themed adventure puzzle game that will also be coming to Android.
DeNA today has announced that the company has signed agreements with four more game development studios to bring future games to DeNA’s Mobage social gaming platform. The four companies are Machineworks Northwest, Grab Games, 4PLAT and Oktagon Games with all four companies bringing future titles to Mobage.
Currently from Disney we have Where’s My Water? and Where’s My Perry? physics-based puzzle games to enjoy. We also have other indie developers making there own spin-off of the Where’s My franchise including one game called Wimp: Where’s My Pants? Now we can add another game to the list, once again from Disney, called Where’s My Valentine?
Animoca has released a new 3D action-puzzle game onto Android called Robo5. It has a simple premise, get to the top of the mountain of boxes with your little robot. However, many of the boxes are not exactly ordinary boxes with some of them having different effects such as floating, crumbling and exploding just to mention a few examples.
Well, our Under The Radar column was meant to be something we did once every week or so, but in just the past few days I’ve come across some really good titles from first-time indie developers. So that leads us to our second Under The Radar for the week. More than half of the games on this list can be classified under the “brutal” category, so if you’re looking for challenging games then be sure to give them a go.
The Chinese New Year is upon us and for those of you who celebrate this particular it is always a time to celebrate. The folks over at Zeptolabs also think it is a time to celebrate and have released a new update today for Cut The Rope called Lantern Box and along with this update comes a new gameplay element.
A new horror-themed adventure puzzle game is currently in development by Night Light Interactive called Whispering Willows. Right now there isn’t a whole lot of details available regarding the game but we do have a gameplay video showing some of the gameplay from an alpha build of the game.
Yesterday we reported on a new game coming from EA called The Simpsons: Tapped Out which has been a rather popular game over on iOS since its release over there. The weird thing yesterday was that even though it was available on Google Play on EA International’s account, almost no one was able to download it. On top of that there isn’t even a North American version right now.
Release a game onto Google Play but don’t let anyone download it right away. That little scenario has happened a few times in the past with other games such as Avengers Initiative which sat on the Google Play store dormant for a couple of months, with not a single person able to download it. Well EA has released The Simpsons: Tapped Out onto Android finally but no one seems to be able to actually download it just yet.
