So there are times where games look really promising, but once you give them enough time, you see how they don’t come even close to you expectations. This is one of those times. When I first saw the game and trailer, I actually thought this looks pretty awesome, but as soon as I finished the abilitease (no typo here) tutorial, I immediately got the idea.
A quick glimpse of the Play store shows that there is no shortage of match 3 games or RPGs. This has been the case since the Play store launched, making it no surprise that the two genres were eventually mashed together.
Foursaken Media surprised us today with a nice little email to let us know about their latest project in development, Phantom Rift. Foursaken Media already has excellent titles in the Google Play Store. We recently reviewed Heroes and Castles and Bug Heroes 2 arrived in the Play Store shortly thereafter. The team of four brothers has a penchant for creating uncommon game worlds that are fascinating and fun to play.
A new tactical/strategy RPG is heading our way soon from Bulwark Studios and Kasedo Games called Crowntakers. Kemco drops Band of Monsters price to free to celebrate Machine Knight breaking a million downloads
Kemco has had one of their games break the covenant 1 million downloads mark and actually this is the first time the company has broken that milestone with one of their titles. The game that has accomplished this goal is Machine Knight which was released back in November 2012. So this isn’t just because Machine Knight is one of their older Android games, although it probably helps. It also probably helps that it is one of Kemco’s very few free titles.
Kongregate, the developers that also brought Game of Thrones Ascent to Android have released another game called Lionheart Tactics. The game is a tactical RPG that uses 3D graphics and turn-based gameplay.
Ubisoft has decided to team up with two other companies, GREE and PlayNext, for the development and eventual release of a new Assassin’s Creed game for mobile devices called Assassin’s Creed Memories. This won’t be your usual Assassin’s Creed style of game where you run around and kill people, at least not in the usual sneaky way in past titles that you’re used to.
