The currently and strangely popular game Flappy Bird has been invading the world quite nicely. Minecraft, where you can recreate anything and everything pretty much, now has its own Flappy Bird recreation that you can also download and play if you want additional mindless fun in Minecraft.

In the world of mash-up games there really is no end to the possibilities that can come about from mixing multiple genres into one title. Most of the time it works out rather well although there are a few mash-ups that end up being pretty bad. Pinball Block Breaker Craft isn’t a bad mash-up by any means but it certain is one of the more unique ones we’ve seen so far.
Crescent Moon Games is having a bit of a double-header this week with two game releases on the tables for Android gamers. Today we get the release of Blocky Roads while tomorrow will have the release of Mimpi onto Android as well. Reporting on the upcoming 0.8.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been fun because there’s just so much coming with this update that even the official changelog on Google Play doesn’t mention it all. While this new beta program is open to everyone to join, it doesn’t mean that you’ll be immediately accepted into the program. Recently we talked about the upcoming Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.8.0 update and some of the confirmed new features and bug fixes that would be coming with it when the update actually arrives in the near future. All of the features and bug fixes we talked about in our last article are still confirmed for the 0.8.0 update but new goodies have been added to the list as well.
Today is already shaping up to be a pretty good Thursday in terms of game releases for Android. We already have King of Fighters-A 2012 arriving onto Google Play and we now also have 505 Games publishing the rather popular sandbox game Terraria onto Android as well. Technically it actually was released yesterday but that’s alright, we’ll include it in today’s releases instead.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.3 update now live, comes with better skies, double chests and more
The Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.3 update that we’ve been talking about and keeping our eye out for has finally arrived. This update brings with it a multitude of fixes and improvements for Minecraft Pocket Realms but also some additional content that we touched on in our past coverage of this update.
Noodlecake Studios have been doing an excellent job bringing some of the more popular iOS games over to Android over the past while now and one of their next releases will be the ever popular Minecraft-inspired The Blockheads by Majic Jungle Software. This particular game is pretty interesting as it looks like a spin-off of Terraria but actually plays out a lot like Minecraft, especially when it comes to building things.
