There are some pretty solid titles for Android that deal with zombies and killing them. Another one will be joining the ranks soon called Zombie Fields by Dreamlords Digital. This is a zombie game in its most primal form. You have guns, zombies are coming at you from everywhere, shoot them and let the blood fly!

Gameloft officially announced that Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus would be released ‘soon’ and since then reports have ranged from Jan 18th – early February. However the only other specific date mentioned is Jan. 28th, 2011 which is right around the corner. In fact multiple sites are reporting that it will be Jan. 28th, 2011.

We received a tip from one of our followers about a game that just got released onto the Android market called Battle Bears Free developed by SkyVu Pictures. This is a 3D OTS (Over the Shoulder) Shooter game where you are a bear armed with a variety of weapons and your job is to basically defend your little bunked against hordes of other colored bears that want to hug you to death.
It is time for some more retro-style gaming and the latest to drop onto the Android market is a game called OpenTyrian by developer Pelya. Pelya is actually a regular over at the Anddev.org forums and has released a few other games onto the market but none as slick as this one. This is your retro space shooter you’ve always wanted to have on your phone.
Crossfire is an interesting little game developed by Joinmobile and was just released onto the Android market today. Crossfire has you control three mechanical warriors on one side of the screen and battle it out with enemy mechanical warriors who are situated on the other side of the screen and once everyone is on the board you begin shooting at each other over a barrier, like Tennis.
While there is always a need to kill zombies at any given point during the day, the selection of zombie games is still minimal when regarding the Android market. However there is a new game called Dead End, developed by Infectious Entertainment, presents you with a game where you can have wave after wave of zombies come at you for you to destroy with various weapons.
Benu Digital has developed some pretty original games for Android devices already and their new title, Herobot, is yet another original release. Admittedly when first seeing this on the market, an image of Rock-em Sock-em Robots came to mind. Amazingly enough that wasn’t far from the truth in this action shooter game where you have to blast evil robots and save the female robot.
Saint is a top-down arena style shooter game for Android. Developed by ComputerTimeCO, Saint is a mortal who has a talent in killing demons. You have an arsenal of weapons at your disposal and the support of Gods which allows you to obliterate the onslaught of demons coming after you. This game is purely about carnage and how much you can do with the weapons you get.
