Welcome to this week’s round-up of Android games that happen to be on sale right now. This particular week’s list is actually quite big, with a number of developers putting more than one game on sale. Inkle has put all three Sorcery! games on sale to celebrate the upcoming release of Sorcery! 4, and Rockstar Games still has a few Grand Theft Auto titles on sale along with Max Payne.

Peter Molyneux’s game development studio called 22Cans, which is currently dealing with the whole Godus issue, has apparently soft launched (or are testing) a new game for mobile called The Trail (published by Kongregate). As it stands right now, it appears that this game is only available in the Philippines right now, which is why we are not sure if it is a soft launch or a beta testing phase, since that regions is used for both usually. That or 22Cans accidentally released it.
Released by HeavyFall Studio, Construction City 2 is the latest addition to their construction themed franchise. In this game, players will be given a variety of construction themed tasked, such as unloading cargo or clearing debris. There’s a wide variety of heavy machinery that players will be using for all of their construction.
Based on the eponymous TV show, Con Man: The Game gives players the opportunity to run their own comic book convention. Players will be in charge of running Shock-A-Con, which will include the cast and characters from the show’s first season, with the job of making sure everything runs as perfectly as possible.
Zynga has decided to release another FarmVilla game onto Android today called FarmVille: Tropic Escape. This is a spin-off of the original game but with a different, more tropical, theme to it. You will be building and growing a variety of structures and crops, but all of it happens to be what you would find in the tropics.
Kairosoft are pretty much the kings of sim-style games on mobile platforms. One of the games that made them as popular as they current are also happens to be one of the original titles they released onto Android called Game Dev Story. Well it appears that a possible sequel, or a similar themed game (more than likely), will be heading our way shortly with the Japanese version already having been released recently.
It’s Friday which means it is time once again for our end of the week Android game sale round-up. This week’s round-up is about half and half when it comes to new games being on the list, and repeats from last week. Some of the new titles making an appearance include both Doom & Destiny games, both Oddworld games, Auro, and more.
Kairosoft has pretty much made themselves the king of retro-style sim games on Android and the company has released another one onto Google Play called The Manga Works. However, instead of running some sort of business, like in most of Kairosoft’s titles, this one has players taking on the role of a fledgling manga artist.
NASA isn’t a name typically associate with game development, but in an effort to draw attention to their rover-oriented efforts on Mars, a new game has been released that’s called Mars Rover. In this game, players will assume control of a rover on Mars that is in search of water.
Oversee the growth of a colony in Eden, now available from both Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore
Released by Channel 4 Television Corporation, Eden is a new community management game for both Android and FireOS. In this game, set on a small Scottish island, players will be tasked with overseeing the community that is living there. Everything the community’s members can do must be prioritized, and will range from tending the fire, to decorating the camp, to food prep that includes hunting, scavenging, and foraging.
