EA had a lot to talk about during their press event the other day, a lot of which had to do with bringing social aspect to more of their games. Following up on that though are confirmation for two games slated for release on Android and iOS. Both Need for Speed: Most Wanted and FIFA 13 (which we announced earlier this week) are confirmed to be coming to Android this year in the Fall.

Fans of Gameloft’s Real Soccer 2012 game have a bit of a treat this morning as the company has pushed out a new update. This update brings a whole new game mode to Real Soccer2012 as well as some bug fixes and other goodies which are meant to improve the game.
Hot on the heels of their release of Big Win Hockey, Hothead Games has released a second sports theme TCG called Big Win Soccer. Just like its hockey brethren, this is just like the Big Win Hockey games but themed around Soccer instead.
EA has come out to confirm that FIFA 13 will be heading to iOS and ‘other mobile platforms’ later this year. Why some of these major game development companies have such an aversion to mentioning Android in their announcements is beyond us but we can expect to see this game released onto Android as well.
Sega has brought over and just released their best-selling (and the world’s best selling) football management game onto the Google Play store. Officially named Football Manager handheld 2012, you will be assuming almost total control over whatever team you choose from a variety of leagues.
There is a new retro style game on the Google Play Store that combines Soccer and platformer gaming into one title, then layers it heavily with some really retro style graphics. Developed by Uncade, Blast Ball combines all three things into one title which is now available for Android.
Alright, we have a confession to make, we knew NBA Jam was coming to Android a few days ago thanks to a tip that it had shown up on their Flexion store for the UK. Well the good news is that NBA Jam is now available on Google Play as well as FIFA 12.
The newest addition to Gameloft’s soccer series of games has landed on the Android Market as a free download. Real Soccer 2012 lots of improvements with it over the last edition plus you can now create and share content thanks to the new Custom Kit Editor that comes with the game.
It is no secret that Sony Ericsson and Kristen Schaal work together to promote the Xperia Play and some of the games that are available for the device. Generally most of these videos are pretty funny while some border on a bit disturbing as well. After a small break it seems Kristen is back with another promo video.
The brilliant Pro Evolution Soccer is back again, this time with the 2012 edition blazing onto android and packing some pretty good visuals and a great selection of game modes. This just might be the most full featured soccer game to hit android to date… now let’s get stuck right in!
