Indie Developer Spotlight: Eugeny Butakov Creator of Psebay

Welcome to the DroidGamers Indie Spotlight. As the amount of games being released in the Play Store increase exponentially, some really great games get overlooked. Sometimes, it is even more difficult, being an Independent Game developer to get your game noticed. As a new column, DroidGamers will be highlighting Indie Game Developers that show great promise in game design. [Update: New Price] OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is now live in the Google Play Store

OlliOlli was developed by Roll7 and published by Devolver Digital. It was a huge hit on PC and then later on mobile devices. In particular, the Nvidia Shield devices. The sequel to OlliOlli is OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood. It is now live in the Google Play store. What is more unbelievable, is that the game is only $0.99 Keep in mind, that this game requires a controller, and more than likely, is only available for Nvidia Shield devices.

Stylish and flawlessly implemented Skate Lines game gets a sequel this Summer in Skate Lines 2

I reviewed Skate Lines in a Weekend Play Game Review in February of last year. It is a game that was created by independent game developer and skater, Daniel Stefan Zeller. It was great news to hear from Mr. Zeller recently, that his latest game, Skate Lines 2, would be making its way to Android and iOS sometime this summer. The original game was fun to play, stylish and had this really chill vibe about it. After watching the trailer for the sequel, more of that greatness returns, and so much more has been added.

Release by Full Fat, Flick Quarterback 16 is the newest addition to the company’s ongoing series of Flick Quarterback titles, which is now out on Android. As one might guess from the game’s name, players will use flicking motions to both cause the quarterback to throw the ball, as well as to help steer the ball either left or right during flight, in the hopes of hitting the receiver, while keeping an eye open for the incoming blitz.
