A third game has appeared on the Google Play store and it appears Square Enix has done a triple release this morning. Aside from Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy Dimensions being released this morning, their Unreal Engine built rhythm-based game Demon’s Score THD is also available but for Tegra 3 based Android devices.

Square Enix seems to on a roll this week, first with their rather big sale for the holidays that is currently going on right now, then releasing a trailer to tease us about Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V and future games. Now we have a double release from Square Enix with Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy Dimensions both hitting Google Play this morning.
Square Enix seems to be on a roll this week when it comes to their mobile games, first with a massive sale on almost all of their games on Google Play, and now we have a new trailer for their upcoming Final Fantasy IV game which iOS gamers are getting today apparently while us Android gamers have to wait a little longer. While it is exciting to see the trailer for Final Fantasy IV, the real exciting news is at the end of it where Square Enix teases that Final Fantasy V is on the way as well as other games as well.
Square Enix hasn’t really done anything sale-wise since they started releasing games onto Android but that appears to have changed as a bunch of their games are now on sale for the holidays. This isn’t just a dollar or two off of their game’s regular pricing either but a heavy discount on most of their titles.
A couple of weeks ago we talked about a rather unique looking Final Fantasy game that would be coming to Android but instead of Square Enix publishing it, they teamed up with DeNA instead who then published it on their Mobage social gaming platform. The game we are talking about is Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade and you will either love it or hate it.
Square Enix has gone ahead and given everyone a heads up about when the next Final Fantasy installment would be landing on Android and iOS, most likely in order for everyone to start saving up their pennies so they can afford it. Final Fantasy IV will be arriving on iOS this month while all of us Android gamers will be seeing this next Final Fantasy title arriving on Google Play in early Spring of 2013.
It looks like the release of Final Fantasy games on Android won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Last week we reported on GREE and Square Enix teaming up to bring a Final Fantasy game to Android and now it appears that DeNA and Square Enix are also teaming up to bring a Final Fantasy title to Android called Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade.

It looks like that possibility is on the horizon and it could be even today since Square Enix did confirm that Demons Score THD would be released worldwide.

It is no secret that GREE has had their sights on expanding into the European and North American mobile gaming market on Android, having a rather aggressive expansion plan in place since they officially announced that their social gaming platform would be expanding worldwide instead of strictly in Japan earlier this year.
