From the makers of Kingdom Corps, Aiming Global Service Inc., comes Tactics: Conqueror’s War (TCW). TCW is a card-based, capture the flag style game, where players attempt to capture castles and fortresses that sprawled over a map. Players will build their decks, comprised of character cards, through “fusion” (this wasn’t explained in the presser) and dungeon exploration.

2K Games has pushed out a new update today for their wrestling themed collectible card game called WWE SuperCard. When we say literal, we mean the cards literally fight each other.
GTArcade, creaters of League of Angels, has announced that they’ll soon be releasing a sequel to it called League of Angels – Fire Raiders! Unlike the original League of Angels, which (loosely speaking) has some dungeon crawler elements to the MMORPG, Fire Raiders will be a card based MMORPG.
Originally created by Rob Dougherty (Co-founder of Ascension) and Darwin Kastle, Star Realms is a card game that has been digitally converted to Android. Star realms is a fairly simple card game with a SciFi setting. This was the first time I’ve played a digital card game. Having enjoyed CCGs/LCGs/TCGs for years (I love even the smell of new cards… you die-hards will know what I mean), I was curious as to how the experience would translate to a touch screen. For the uninitiated, the idea is that you and your opponent(s) have a deck of cards that are custom to the game being played, with a framework of rules that cards can expand upon, as well as the cards taking the place of pieces, counters, and often times a board (such is the case here).
Art Castle has brought their popular iOS game called Trouble With Robots over to Android. This is an action-based strategy TCG title but unlike a lot of TCG titles, this one doesn’t have hundreds of cards to collect. This is mainly due to the fact that Trouble With Robots isn’t just about collecting cards and doing the usual style of battle with them.
More Hearthstone news today for all of you players out there but this time the news comes in the form of an update to the game itself. The new Maraad card back has been added to the game for those of you who collect them by ranking 20 or higher every month.
We missed last week’s installment of Fun Fridays due to the holidays but we won’t be missing it this week. If you are not familiar with this new series we recently started, this is basically a bit of a showcase of some of the more humorous, entertaining, or just plain cool things we’ve seen during the week that has happened in the video game industry. This isn’t just isolated to mobile gaming though.
One thing that we get to do a lot of in the last month of any year is start talking about games that will be released in the upcoming one. Dicetiny is one of those games that will be arriving in the first half of 2015 and it looks pretty interesting as well as fun.
