Lately we have reported on a few developers hosting little tournaments which come with prize money for the players who place in the Top 3 spots after a certain amount of time. It’s a good way to promote a game’s release actually. So far the highest one we have seen was for $10,000. However today that record was beat and by a lot.

Released by Plarium, has announced that Nords: Heroes of the North is now out for Android. Set in the world of Shingård players will need to defend their land against the evil Ice Queen. You will be looking to match the Ice Queen, army for army, with hers being comprised of undead that are bent on conquest. Your army will be containing the disparate Elves, Dragons, Northmen and Orcs, who are only united to stop the Ice Queen.
Back in August of this year we reported on a new Puzzle Quest spin-off game that would be heading our way soon. This spin-off takes place in the wonderful world of Magic The Gathering, which means there will be monsters, spells and other items from the Magic the Gathering world, but inside Puzzle Quest.
As fans the world over await the December 18th release of Episode VII with feverish anticipation (myself included), many have turned to the recent onslaught of media offerings to get their interim Star Wars fix. With a slew of new EU novels, multiple Marvel comic books, a new animated series and the blockbuster release of Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars fans have been fed a continuous stream of Star Wars content over the past year. Electronic Arts sought to leave no stone un-turned in that regard, but after having spent some time with their recent mobile “RPG,” Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, I am of the mind that this was a stone best left undisturbed.
OrangePixel has been working on their roguelike game Space Grunts for quite some time now. We have been covering the development of this game since it was announced, so we are quite happy to finally be able to report on an actually release time frame for mobile devices as well as the PC version.

The studio behind the widely popular mobile game Bio Inc. has a new game on the horizon called Battle Bros. This game is very different then Bio Inc. since that game is all about destroying the human body, while this game is all about working together with another player.
G2A.com is a website that mainly deals with getting PC games for a lot less than retail cost. They haven’t done much else than that aside from offering a few smaller services. So it is interesting to see the company announcing a Virtual Reality game for the Oculus Rift which will be coming in the form of an amusement park.
Released by Alien Tree, A Snow Fort Too Far is a combat game now released on Android. The point of the game is for the player’s army of children needs to defend their neighborhood against an invading army of the same. Players will have four types of snow-ball soldiers at their disposal, with all four being upgrade-able in different ways.

Roughly a little over two years ago, Microsoft mentioned that their popular RTS franchise Age of Empires would be seeing some mobile love soon. Then it all went quiet about the mobile version’s release… that is until now. Age of Empires: World Domination has soft launched onto Android (and iOS) in select countries.
Ski Safari 2 will be getting a holiday themed update tomorrow to celebrate breaking 7 million downloads
Sleepy Z Studios and their rather popular Ski Safari 2 game have broken the 7 million download mark since its release in September 2015. That is, of course, across both Android and iOS. Still, 7 million+ downloads is a pretty good number either way. To celebrate this, Sleepy Z Studios are planning to release a holiday themed content update tomorrow for Ski Safari 2.
