Zynga has an interesting and rather good looking game on the way that is a bit out of the box for them. This is due to Zynga buying out a game studio going by the name of November Software not too long ago which was basically a four-man studio. The game they were working on was probably what caught Zynga’s interest, mainly because Zynga deals mostly with social and casual games, not Action-RPG titles.

Recently we mentioned that the newest addition to Gameloft’s Dungeon Hunter franchise would be arriving this month and now rumor has it that it will be arriving tomorrow. Dungeon Hunter 4 is going back to the majority of the franchise’s roots from the first couple of games where there was a storyline and actual dungeons to crawl your way through, killing monsters and getting to loot.
If you’ve been following the news here recently about all the different types of controllers, peripherals and console type devices coming out that are Android powered, then you probably remember us talking about the Green Throttle controller a few times already. The controller and accompanying application, for those of you who are not familiar with it, basically allows gamers to play Android games on their TVs basically like a console with the big feature being that most of the game are geared towards multiplayer gaming.
While some of you on the east coast of North America are beginning to wake up, and while people elsewhere in the world are getting off work or maybe getting ready to go to sleep, Warballoon Games has release a nice lengthy video of the first 20 minutes of gameplay for Star Command for everyone to enjoy with their morning coffee or after work beer.
Warballoon Games’ upcoming Action-sim game Star Command which had a fairly successful Kickstarter campaign and has been in development for what seems like quite some time may actually be nearing release according to a few tweets over on the company’s Twitter account recently. While the release date of the game has been pushed back a few times, it finally looks like that may be coming to an end and that the game may finally be coming out.
High Voltage games recently made their debut mark on Android with the release of their FPS game The Conduit HD that was for the Wii. Now it appears another Wii game that the company was working on for WiiWare, but was never released, will be coming to Android and iOS in the rather near future.
Back in February of this year we talked about Craneballs Studios upcoming sequel to their ‘kill everything in sight’ FPS game Overkill. While there are goals and achievements to accomplish the game, its real draw was that there was a ridiculous amount of weaponry you could use and the fact there were factions of players, competing for the highest score over other ones.
Not too long ago GREE purchased a game development company by the name of Funzio who happen to be the developer of such games as Crime City and Modern War. Crime City was actually one of the top profitable games on Google Play for a few months which is partially why GREE bought the development studio. Now, after a long period of no game releases, it looks like their four title is getting close to release.
Epic Devs just released Epic Pirate Story today and if you are one of the few people who actually read the entire Google Play listing for any particular game or app you’re about to download, then you might have spotted a little bit of info regarding some future games Epic Devs are working on.
There is a new gladiator game on the horizon from a development company called Steel Monkeys which is currently available on iOS called I, Gladiator. Since the game’s release onto iOS it has garnered quite the following and positive reviews and now Steel Monkeys happens to be getting it ready for its release onto Google Play soon.
