How to Obtain The Forge Miner Shards
You can get Miner Shards as a drop from Delver Zombies and Bomber enemies. They are both found in different areas, which I’ll go into below!
Delver Zombie Location
You can find Delver Zombies in the Stonewake’s Cross mines. It’s easy to spot them, as they are holding a large pickaxe and wearing a helmet. Make sure you have a good weapon to defeat them, as they can have high HP and deal high DMG.
- Health: 401-175
- Damage: 12-30.4
- Level: 1-10
- Gold: 10$-20$
- Experience: 20XP-40XP
Delver Zombies have a 1/35 chance to drop a Miner Shard.
Bomber Location
Bombers lurk in the Forgotten Kingdom, and they’re even tougher to defeat than the Delver Zombies. These enemies resemble small Skeletons holding a bomb and wearing a hat.
- Health: 60-120
- Damage: 70
- Level: 1-5
- Gold: 50$-100$
- Experience: 20XP-40XP
Bombers have a 1/15 chance to drop the Miner Shard.
What Do Miner Shards Do?
You may be wondering why you need Miner Shards, and there are good reasons for this! A Miner Shard is a Rune, which are tokens that allow you to give unique traits and buffs to your weapons and armors.
The Miner Shard, when applied, will grant the following abilities:
- Luck
- Increases your luck.
- Yield
- You have an increased chance of gaining one additional ore when you are mining. However, this depends on which Miner Rune you have already obtained.
- Mine Speed
- This boosts how fast you mine by a set amount, which depends on the type of Mining Rune you have.
- Mine Power
- This will boost your pickaxe damage depending on the Mining Rune variant.
Frequently Asked Questions
Although subjective, I’d say so! Miner Shards provide the most buffs out of all the Runes you can obtain, so based on that, I’d say it’s the best.
Luck Totems and Luck Potions are known to increase your chances of finding better Ore, but we aren’t sure if they increase the chances of rarer drops. If you’re busy mining, it’s worth using this potion or totem just in case. No harm done!
This area is unavailable when you first play, and you can only get there once you reach level 10 and have the portal item. You get the portal as a reward from Sensei Moro when you complete his quests during the tutorial stage.
Any powerful weapon or armor is worth adding a Miner Shard to. However, I don’t recommend equipping it to weaker pieces of gear, as it won’t be worth it.
