Well the rumor mill has started up and now it is centering around Google. This time, however, it isn’t about a secret new device or anything of that nature but instead about a social gaming network they are apparently working on. Interestingly enough, we predicted this would happen last year when the App Inventor was released.

Two new games have quietly dropped onto the Android Market that will definitely take advantage of that high-end Android device you have sitting near you. Beware of the Bad Seed, released March 21st, and No Gravity, released today, are two game that take advantage of the latest hardware in your Android device.
For those of you who have been waiting for the ad-free versions of Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons to be released, you’ll be happy to know they are now available through the Amazon App Store. You’ll want to get this if you’ve complained about the ads being in the way during play or lagging your gameplay/performance.
Quite how it has taken so long to port Townsmen 6 from J2ME to Android is a mystery, but anyone keen on resource management and strategy won’t be complaining. The Townsmen series has long been one of the best strategy games available for mobiles – but will this latest incarnation disappoint?

Developed by Starwind Games, the gist of the game is that it is an old style game with a new twist and cross-platform gameplay.
Gameloft, a developer who has spurned the Android Market due to piracy and malware issues has been reported recently stating that they are indeed going to give it a go on the newly minted Amazon Appstore. This is great news for anyone wanting a Gameloft game but not wanting to use the Gameloft store.
