A quick peek at the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 mobile app and the Call of Duty Elite system

Not too long ago, back in the beginning of September, we reported on the fact that Modern Warfare 3 would be getting an application that would allow you to switch up your gear and a few other tasks in-game through your Android device. The new system, called Call of Duty Elite now has a nice little tour on video which shows a glimpse of the mobile app and how it will look.

While the video mainly focuses on the Facebook integration of the Call of Duty Elite’s system, which I will say comes with a ridiculous amount of features, towards the end of the video you get a look at the mobile application itself. While a lot of the Elite’s system will be Facebook only, some of the Facebook features will be also available on the mobile application as well.

The applications main function though is for players to set up their gear and get ready for gaming so when they get home you can just jump right onto the game and beginning playing and not worry about any set up you may have had to do before hand. In the application you can access you gear, set up your classes and push it to then game. When you go into the game, it will notify you that you’ve made changes and you can review them or just get into shooting people in the face right away.

Definitely check out the video above to take a look at the entire system but watch for the quick shots of the mobile application for Android and iOS closer to the end of the video.
