OrangePixel releases a free new retro game as a gift to fans called Groundskeeper

OrangePixel is quite well known for the retro style games on multiple platforms including Android. Today they have released a little gift to all of their fans in the form of a free games called Groundskeeper that comes complete with great retro graphics and some sweet chip tunes by Gavin Harrison.

So what is Groundskeeper? It is a cute but extremely difficult action game where the entire goal is to just survive as long as possible. Actually surviving past a minute is difficult and I’ve had my ass whooped numerous times within 30 seconds.

Groundskeeper Features:

– The cutest and most low-res retro graphics we could create
– Bleeptastic sound effects!
– Chip-awesomene music by the talented Gavin Harrison (famous for the music in INC and Neoteria)
– pixel perfect gameplay !
– Twitter-bragging options

The entire game is just one stage of retro shooting fun where you can move left, right and jump to avoid the zombie-esque creatures coming up from the ground. You are armed with a gun that you need to use to shoot these creatures with. If you are up for a little retro fun and are a fan of OrangePixel games, go get this one off of the Google Play store for free.
