DotEmu, the game development company who has brought us mobile ports of Another World, R-Type and some of those SNK Playmore games recently released, have just announced their own next release and it is a pretty big one. DotEmu will be bringing four of the classic Raiden shooter games to Android under one title, Raiden Legacy.
The pack will come with the original Raiden of course, but will also contain three other installments into the series: Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters II and Raiden Fighters Jet. For those of you unfamiliar with the series, the storyline is about Earth being invaded by aliens and to defend Earth the World Alliance Military releases a new weapon called the Raiden. You get to play as one of the Raiden pilot and fly out to kill as many of the aliens as you can in order to save Earth.
All four games will come under the one name Raiden Legacy when it is released. As of right now, we don’t have a lot of other details but this is going to be a pretty awesome pack for those of you who dig the classic arcade shooters. Raiden Legacy is slated for release on Android this Fall.
