Ubisoft’s Rayman Jungle Run for Android delayed until September 27th

A couple of weeks ago we brought you news about Ubisoft who have a few games heading our way over the next few weeks. One of those games have already been released, Prince of Persia Classic, while another one which was slated for release today is called Rayman Jungle Run. Unfortunately this new Rayman game has been delayed for about a week, with a new release date of September 27th.

The delay is apparently to make sure everything is running smoothly as an Ubisoft representative spoke to Android Police about the delay, citing that it is to provide the ‘best possible gaming experience”. Here is what the Ubisoft rep said:

Rayman Jungle Run will now be available on Google Play on Thursday September 27th @ 10am CET. We are very sorry that the Android version release on week later than expected but we wanted to provide the best gaming experience for the players with a software fully optimized for all Android devices.

So we have to wait a little bit longer before we get our hands on this new Rayman game which is based off of the bonus levels found in Rayman Origins. When it does land on Google Play next week, you’ll be able to pick the game up for $2.99.
