The PSP Emulator called PPSSPP has arrived onto Google Play, still in early prototype form

At the beginning of this month we talked about a new emulator being developed by the same folk who created the rather widely used fully working Wii emulator called Dolphin for PCs and that they were now working on building a fully functioning emulator called PPSSPP which would let you play all those favorite PSP games you still own. At the time of reporting on this, PPSSPP was only available for download through the developer’s website.

Sega’s Jet Set Radio HD coming to Android on November 29th

For those of you who have patiently waited for Sega’s upcoming revamping of the Dreamcast classic game Jet Set Radio, officially to be called Jet Set Radio HD, there is some good news finally after a long time of silence. It appears that Sega is gearing up to release Jet Set Radio on multiple platforms this month, with Android and iOS getting it on November 29th, 2012. In a bit of an interesting twist, the product listing on Sega’s site says it is already out but don’t believe that, it won’t be till the 29th.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Danny Trejo teaming up for Danny Trejo’s Vengeance

In what will most likely go down in history as one of the strangest team-ups in mobile gaming, Danny Trejo, of Sons of Anarchy fame along with god knows how many movies he’s been in, and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will be teaming up to release a new mobile game for ‘tablets’ called Danny Trejo’s Vengeance: Woz With A Coz. So what do we know about this game?

Keeping it Casual #1: The Backflip Madness Review

As the Android world evolves, so does the content that is being released into the Play store. What was once a platform dominated by great casual games such as Cut the Rope and Dragon Fly, is now being taken over by the more ‘hardcore’ of games like Need for Speed, Shadowgun and Modern Combat. Controllers are being introduced and the Ouya is on the horizon. This is where I wish to go back to basics, highlighting the best casual games that deserve to be noticed and get them out of the shadows of the bigger budget games. Our first game is Backflip Madness by Gamesoul Studios.
