A new 3D golf game creeped onto Google Play the other day called RU Golf THD from RUWORLD. This particular golf game isn’t the PGA Tour Tiger Woods style of golf games though and instead is a bit easier to play and feature anime-style characters to play as. Luckily you can customize your character to look a little less cute.

For those of you out there who may not really want to carry a controller around with you but still happen to want something a little more tactile to use for your controls when playing games on your Android device, SteelSeries has a new suction-style setup called the Free Touchscreen Gaming Controls which happen to be available on their web store for purchase.
Yesterday Mediocre Games decided to announce that they were well into the development of a sequel for their physics-based puzzle game Sprinkle. The still unnamed game, although we will just all it Sprinkle 2 for now, has some interesting speculation surrounding it that it will also feature some of the mechanics from Granny Smith.
Just because Christmas has ended as of today doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy holiday themed content that games have gotten updated with and there has been plenty of that going around. One game that has gotten a rather cool holiday themed update is Melesta Games’ Toy Defense which now has an addition 12 levels to play through, all themed around Christmas and Winter in general.
While HyperDevBox has released their sequel to their rather cool mech-themed shooter ExZeus, the company has also gone ahead and put up all three of their tactics-style RPGs on sale for 50% off for a limited time. According to HyperDevBox, they couldn’t run a sale for Christmas so to make up for it they have decided to run this “Happy 2013! New Years Eve” sale instead.
Usually there is only one free app or game of the day over at the Amazon AppStore but today we are treated to a ‘Greatest Hits’ promotion where Amazon has put up some of their best free apps and games from the past year back up for free once again. The selection has some impressive titles available for free right now that you may have missed when they originally were offered up for free.
One of the first real mech-style arcade shooter games to land on Android was a game called ExZeus from HyperDevBox. This game featured some pretty impressive visuals for the time as well as some pretty hectic and enjoyable gameplay. Not too long ago we found out that a sequel was in the works, appropriately named ExZeus 2. Well that sequel is now available on Google Play and features console quality visuals and even more hectic shooting gameplay.
The trees were lit and houses decorated in lights, presents opened and Android devices given to children and adults alike. Christmas is over for everyone and boxing is today if you’re in Canada so good luck to everyone dealing with the crowds in the stores up there. While it is all about the spirit of giving, let’s be real, we love to get stuff as well.
