Zoombies Animales de la Muerte, an unreleased WiiWare game, coming to Android in May

High Voltage games recently made their debut mark on Android with the release of their FPS game The Conduit HD that was for the Wii. Now it appears another Wii game that the company was working on for WiiWare, but was never released, will be coming to Android and iOS in the rather near future.

The WiiWare game that was never released is called Zoombies Animales de la Muerte and has a storyline about a zombie outbreak that happens at a Mexican zoo. This sort of thing happens at most zoos at least once. Originally the game was meant to be a bit of an open world (or open zoo in this case) time of game where you would roam around and deal with the zombies.

While this form of game mechanic could have worked just fine on mobile, High Voltage has opted to change things up, which you will see in the video below, making the game a more 2D style of title with a line drawing type of gameplay. You’ll be drawing a line for your little boy and girl characters which will in turn direct their weapons at the oncoming zombies. Most of these weapons look like the more hands-on type you throw like axes and when they reach the end of the line you’ve drawn, they will fly back to you.

So when can you get your hands on this game finally? Well iOS will be getting it on April 18th while us Android gamers have to wait till sometime in May before we can kill more zombies.
