Flyhunter Origins is a game we reported on not too long ago back in July of this year. Developed by Steel Wool Games, in partnership with Riptide Publishing, Flyhunter Origins is Steel Wool’s first game release and if you happen to be living in Canada, you now have the ability to download the game before anyone else in what is basically a soft release.
Flyhunter Origins is all about a little alien type of a guy named Zak in what the companies are calling a Super-fly Platform-Adventure game. Visually this game looks pretty solid, with fairly high detailed 3D graphics, cut-scenes, and cinema-worthy animation. It is a good thing it features these types of visuals since Steel Wool Games is a studio of five people who have worked in the animation industry for a long time.

Zak, while being a janitor, is thrust into the role of saving Earth from a cargo of very exotic insect that have been freed after said cargo somehow gets loose and crashes onto Earth. So now gets to have a chance at his dream of having a much more adventurous life instead of cleaning the ship he works for.
Flyhunter Origins has landed on the Canadian Google Play store today in a soft launch for $2.99. This is only temporary while the developers make sure everything is good. Once the soft launch is over, Flyhunter Origins will be released worldwide on numerous platforms, both console and mobile. For us this means Android devices as well as a Tegra-enhanced version as well.
