PC-based MMORPG Tera Online will soon be coming to mobile devices next year

Big news today for fans of MMORPG titles as Nexon has signed an agreement with publisher Bluehole to release Tera Online onto mobile devices. There isn’t a ton of details right now regarding this mobile version but since its release, and subsequent change from a premium MMORPG to a free-to-play one, Tera Online is now ranked as one of the most played MMORPGs on Steam right now.

This mobile version will be simple titled T2 and the crew behind its development also include some of the original Tera Online developers. The new mobile version will also be using Unreal Engine 4 for its development, so we should see plenty of eye candy to go along with all the open-world content that should be arriving with T2.

As it stands right now, there is no word as to whether it will contain all the original game’s content and use the same servers, or if it will be different content-wise and on separate servers. We’ve reached out to Nexon for further details and will post an update when we hear back. Right now there is only a general 2016 release time frame.
