Monster Hunter meets Minecraft in Durango, out Q4 2017

Durango Android

Durango is an upcoming MMORPG that combines the teamwork -focused combat of Monster Hunter with the village building of Minecraft.

You’ll create a character then build a second life in a primitive world shared by humans and dinosaurs. Well, you’re free to choose the life you want to live really. You can live as a crafter, focus on building settlements, or fight off dangerous dinosaurs.

Nexon wants Durango to be the biggest open world sandbox available on mobile. So to achieve that, the developer has procedurally generated the world which is infinite in size. That also means you’ll constantly discover new areas and stuff to do.

Durango – a living breathing world

The dinosaurs you’re contending with aren’t simply dumb animals waiting for slaughter though. They hunt in packs so you’ll have to do the same if you want to survive.

You don’t have to kill them though. You can tame, train, and ride them into battle if you wish.

They’re also not your only enemy. Players can form clans and battle each other out for territory – in many ways other players are your biggest threat. So definitely make sure to bring a few friends with you when you start to play.

Durango will launch at some point in winter this year. If you just can’t wait, check out the official site or the E3 coverage for more.
