The story draws inspiration from Norse mythology, with you playing as a valkyrie tasked by Odin to recruit the Einherjar. These are lost souls that you have to battle alongside to improve their abilities.
Once you’re happy with their abilities, you can send them to Asgard, where they’ll await the great war. You can check in on how they’re doing over there between chapters too, which is cool.
