It’s about time really, isn’t it? PUBG Corp has finally filed a lawsuit against the developer of Fortnite, Epic Games. This is down to the similarity between Fortnite‘s Battle Royale mode and its own game, PUBG.
If you’ve played both of these before, you’ll likely have done a bit of an about turn yourself. Fortnite really does feel like a silly reskin of PUBG, with a similar map layout, the approaching storm, and paragliding into battle.
That’s not to mention the same goal of surviving against 99 other players to be the last man standing, collecting weapons and shields along the way.

In fact, the only feature of note that Fortnite brings to the table is crafting, which you could argue is right out of Minecraft. At least Epic didn’t take the vehicles though, eh?
Don’t get us wrong – we love Fortnite, and it’s a truly excellent battle royale game. We can totally understand PUBG Corp’s decision though, given how close the two games are.
