Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Launches May 7 on Android and You Can Pre-register Right Now

Sega has announced that Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will launch on Android on May 7, and you can pre-register right now on Google Play.

This mini-game collection challenges Sonic and pals to put a stop to Dr. Eggman, who’s trying to cancel the Olympic Games.

Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Features a Huge Cast of Characters and Olympic Events

Oddly enough, the way you achieve that is by participating in the Olympic events themselves.

You can play as the usual line-up, which includes Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, alongside some more obscure characters like Vector, Espio, Blaze, and Silver.

There’s also a bunch of bad guys, like Dr. Eggman, Shadow, Jet, and Rouge. You’re spoiled for choice in terms of characters, really.

In terms of events, there’s pretty much everything. 100m, Hammer Throw, Karate, Archery, Badminton, Sport Climbing, and more. You can challenge other players to beat your score, earning extra rewards.

You can pre-register for Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 right now on Google Play if you’re interested, or learn more about it on the official website.
