Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is Coming to Android Next Spring

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run will launch in spring 2021, according to a tweet from publisher King.

Originally leaked in February, this Crash Bandicoot-themed Minion Rush-esque auto-runner has had a fairly elusive pre-launch life. It existed as a mere rumor in the early part of the year before abruptly acquiring an official name in July, since when the game has been open for pre-registrations.

King’s tweet, published today, not only reveals Crash Bandicoot: On the Run’s launch season but also gives some information on what the game will contain. You can look forward to hundreds of hours of gameplay, 50 bosses, and 12 lands.

While purists might scoff at the prospect of a free-to-play Crash Bandicoot title from King, the 3D auto-runner is a pretty ideal format, given that Crash Bandicoot is the genre’s most obvious ancestor.

You can pre-register for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run right now on the Google Play Store.
