Crash Bandicoot: On the Run Finally Gets a Proper Release Date on Mobile

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, King’s hotly anticipated free-to-play 3D auto-runner, finally has a concrete release date.

Last October we wrote that it would be out in spring. Last month we wrote that it would be out in March. And now we can reveals that Crash Bandicoot: On the Run will be available to download on March the 25th.

In case you haven’t been following the infuriatingly gradual and unpublicised progress of Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, it sees you barrelling headlong into the screen, avoiding obstacles, smashing crates, and collecting apples – rather like the original Crash Bandicoot, in fact.

The reason Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is so hotly anticipated is that it looks like it much actually be quite good. King promises tens of hours of gameplay, plus a range of classic characters, unlockable items and weapons, and even some rudimentary crafting and base-building.

There’s asynchronous multiplayer, too, allowing you to join forces with likeminded Bandicoots around the world.

You’ll be able to download Crash Bandicoot: On the Run for free on the Google Play Store from March the 25th. Pre-register for it right now.
